The Workshop Theater, in partnership with Weston Theater Company, will present a New York industry reading of Kareem Fahmy's A Distinct Society on July 16 at Open Jar Studios.

This poignant new play—set in the real-life Haskell Free Library, which straddles the US-Canada border—explores how family, love, and art connect us across divides. The reading offers a first look ahead of its Northeast premiere at Weston in Vermont this August.

Directed by the playwright and featuring a distinguished cast, this project underscores Weston's commitment to producing timely, thought-provoking work.

FRESH Chicken!

Chicken processing begins tomorrow (Wednesday) which means we'll have fresh chicken at the farm stand! We are just as excited as you are! Our chickens are pasture-raised right here on our farm, and are the best tasting chicken around.

And back by popular demand is our unbagged chicken special. You'll have 2 days in which to take advantage of the unbagged chicken special. Every Wednesday and Thursday, between 12:00 & 5:00. No reservations required. Simply stop by with your own bag or container. Save .50/lb for unbagged chicken.

Bagged chickens available throughout the week at the farm stand. We look forward to seeing you this week. Get here early as we have been known to sell out, especially the first couple of weeks of fresh chicken season.

Hi Folks,

It is that time again and I hope you are enjoying these wonderful summer days despite the rain we have been having. They certainly have been very warm!

The Deadline for the August Chit Chat is Tuesday July 22^nd, by 6:00 pm, please have all articles, announcements, advertisements and any other item you wish to share with our community by then. Remember to always send your ads and pictures you wish to post to me in color. They look so much better when printed in black and white and color looks great on the website.

Many thanks for all your help for getting your items to me to be printed. It is team work and I appreciate all you do to help me.
