Happy Friday folks and welcome to the weekend. The weather has been a mixed bag this past week bringing sun, clouds, wind, snow, and a bit of rain. Looks to be a good weather weekend ahead.
We are happy to report that Jackson's heifer, Oreo, had her calf Wednesday evening. Lola and Mom are doing great and Jack is pretty proud of his young herd. Lola was the last calf of our calving season. Our CSA membership is open for enrollment. If you are a frequent shopper in our farm stand, then our free choice CSA might be the right fit for you! With our free choice CSA you can use your CSA credit for anything we offer inside our farm stand, and shop whenever you want. Complete details and membership form can be found on our website. Our bread bakers are celebrating a family birthday this weekend and will not be baking. We do, however, have some of their frozen bread in our freezers. Also in our freezers you'll find Goodman's take-and-bake pizzas. A customer favorite! In the meat department, check out our complete list of cuts inside our farm stand. Beef steaks, ground beef, beef roasts, pork chops, ham steaks, sausage, ribs, pork roasts, and chicken. No reason to go hungry this weekend! Don't forget the sweet stuff! Our award-winning, wood-fired maple syrup is on the shelves and waiting for you. All grades and sizes available. You'll also find our maple cream, maple candy, maple almonds and maple sugar. Maple, maple, maple!! Our farm stand is open Thursdays through Sundays from 12:00-5:00. Located at 1966 Healdville Road in Mount Holly.
