It's Friday and a rainy start to the weekend here at the farm. We got quite a bit of rain yesterday and last night, and it appears as tho we'll have some throughout the day today.
So don't put your slow cookers or instant pots away just yet! Dreary weather calls for comfort food! Chuck roasts, briskets, chili, meatloaf, chicken, pork shoulder .. just to name a few! What's your favorite comfort food? Mine is anything I can serve with mashed potatoes!
Our sugaring season is winding down, with possibly a couple more days in the the sugar house. If you haven't grabbed some of this years wood fired maple syrup, stop on by the farm stand this weekend and get some! It is absolutely delicious.
Also in the farm stand you'll find pizza, honey, mustards, salsa, meat, eggs, coffee beans, vinegar, spinach, potatoes, yogurt, ravioli, cheese and jeeze .. so much more!
Stop on by if you're out and about this weekend. We are open 12:00 - 5:00. We accept cash, checks, and credit cards. Heck, we'll put you to work if we have to! We look forward to seeing you this weekend. Our farm stand is located at 1966 Healdville Road in Mount Holly. Closed on Mondays!
