Joseph Citro will be speaking at the Mount Holly Library at 7 PM on October 26th.  For 20 years Joe has chronicled the oddities of local history on public radio, in his popular lectures, and multiple bestselling books.  His topic: Vermont, the Odd State We're In, a sampling of the strangest things to happen here.  You will want to mark your calendars; the presentation is right in time for Halloween.  Joe is knowledgeable; he is also very funny.

Happy Fall!

Patchy frost here at the farm this morning and a temperature of 34 degrees.  But the sky is blue and the forecast says it'll be a pleasant start to the weekend.

Turkeys are out on pasture and are soaking up the fresh air, bugs and sunshine.  And our laying hens are doing the same!

The grandkids scored some empty bags during the week and spent yesterday afternoon hand packing bags of mulch hay for sale at the farm stand.  Perfect for those garden beds as we get them ready for the winter.

We have pumpkins available for $5.00 each.  Get your fall decorating done this weekend, or maybe you're ahead of me and you're all done!

In the farm stand this weekend you'll find ...  beef, pork, chicken, maple syrup and products, mustards, sauces, pizza, veggies, dairy, honey, gifts, vinegar, coffee, soaps ...  and more!

Fresh bread arrives on Saturday!  And Mt. DairyAire Farm delivered their sourdough english muffins yesterday.  These don't last long folks, so get 'em while we got 'em!

Not able to get to the farm stand?!  Luckily you can shop our website 24/7 for all your maple needs!

With the exception of service dogs, no dogs allowed at the farm.  Please be mindful of hay equipment, grandkids, vehicles and customers when driving in and out of our driveway.  Our farm stand is located at 1966 Healdville Road in Mount Holly.  Open Tuesdays through Sundays from 12:00pm-5:00pm.  Closed on Mondays!

CHUCK ROASTS !

One of my favorite meals when the weather changes!  Chuck roast and my slow cooker!  Surround with potatoes, onions, and carrots.  Add a splash or two of worcestershire sauce, along with a can of cream of mushroom soup.  Cook on low for 8-10 hours.  SO GOOD!

And the leftovers make the best hot beef sandwiches.  Stop on by and check out our chucks.  I believe we have a size just perfect for you.
