The Manhattan Short Film Festival is now showing at the Mount Holly Town Library. This festival features the 10 finalist short films from over 700 independent film makers from all over the world, shown at 600 venues around the globe during the week of 9/23-10/2. Each film is 12-15 minutes in length and all 10 finalists will be shown at each showing. You, the audience, will be given the opportunity to vote for best film and best actor, with the winner announced from New York at 10 AM EST on Monday 10/4.

Admission is free, but donations are gratefully accepted.

 

Show times at the Mount Holly Library:

Thursday 9/23 @7 PM

Saturday 9/25 @ 2 PM and 7 PM

Monday 9/27 @ 7 PM

Thursday 9/30 @ 7 PM

Sunday 10/3 @ 2 PM and 7 PM

 

Some reminders:

The films are being shown indoors

Seating is limited to 20 at each showing

These films are not intended for children under the age of 17

Masks and full vaccination are required

This Saturday is PLYMSBURY TRAIL MAINTENANCE DAY!  
Sharing this so folks who enjoy the use of the  Northam trails for outdoor recreation or are just looking for a fun, productive outdoor activity with others this weekend can come help get the trails cleared and ready to use once the snow arrives.  

WHEN: SATURDAY - 9/25 at 9 am. Meet at the 1st parking lot at 9 am. 

WHERE: Plymsbury Road in Northam, first right after the bridge past Pierce's Store off the CCC Rd.  
WHAT TO BRING: Rakes, shovels, pruners, loppers and hand saws are needed if you have them. Don't have any? Come anyway. 

PER THE STATE, NO GAS TRIMMERS OR SAWS ALLOWED. 


Lana Vannuchi is the Shrewsbury Outing Club's Northam Trail Steward and the organizer of this event.


Happy Fall Everyone! Next season is ski and snowshoe season.. Let's be ready when it's time.  
 

We've been looking forward to this since last summer. Our audience agreed this group was a highlight of the last season.

Carlos' large repertoire of both original and cover songs includes classic rock, blues, Latin, R&B and swing, accompanied by Thal Aylward on violin and bassist Scott Paulson. He calls the music "a spicy gumbo of musical styles". You won't want to miss this one!
