I am looking for someone to host a veterinary student May 1-14. This particular student is willing to pay for a hotel room. I'd rather him be in Mt Holly and would like to help minimize his cost by finding an alternative accommodation. I'm a large animal veterinarian based out of Mount Holly. I am starting to host pre-vet and veterinary students. In the interest of efficiency and keeping costs down for students, I am looking for one or more places that would be willing to host a student for short periods of time. When I was a vet student on externships, some clinics were big enough to have a bedroom in the clinic; at another, they had a manufactured home to house students. Vet school is expensive and working in rural places, especially doing large animal work, is not lucrative. Anything I can do to help future veterinarians appreciate and potentially want to work in a rural setting is worth the effort.

Our farm stand is located at 1966 Healdville Road in Mount Holly. We are open Tuesdays through Sundays from 12:00 - 5:00. Closed on Mondays!
Pizza is a big hit in our house, and I'm sure it is in yours as well. While we love the traditional toppings, from time to time we switch it up a bit.
I had some leftover chicken last week so that was the start of this pizza. I started with a ranch dressing, and then topped with the chicken, sauteed onions, and jowl bacon! So delicious! Ever try our jowl bacon? Well you must if you haven't. Stop on by the farm stand and we'll hook you up.
