Do you like ticks? Nah, I didn't think so! Did you know you can help control the tick population on your property by getting rid of a very unhelpful invasive species - Japanese Barberry. Read more here: https://www.vtinvasives.org/invasive/barberry-japanese We've had some success in tackling this pretty but persistent plant pest, and would like to share our experience with interested neighbors in Mt Holly and neighboring towns . If you'd like to learn more about how to recognize and get rid of japanese barberry, please join me for a short walk in the woods next Sunday. We'll bemainly on trails - but still good come dressed prepared for wading through a few thorny shrubs. I'm happy to point out and discuss other invasive too to those who are interested!
