I am hoping to begin a monthly contribution for our town newspaper, The Times of Shrewsbury, writing about living in the time of the Covid pandemic from the point of view of people in other regions of the U.S. and in other countries. Here in Shrewsbury, we seem to have lots of residents who have traveled quite a bit, maintaining connections both in the U.S. and abroad, and a lot of interest in learning about travel and life in other cultures. I thought it might make good reading to find out what others are going through and how life is moving forward through the changes the pandemic has brought on. I'm willing to bet that we have a lot in common, and also that we might learn things that we have never thought of before!
