A friend of mine is interested in acquiring a working spinning wheel, and also a weaving loom about 3 – 4 feet in width.  If you have one (or both) that you'd like to sell, please contact me.     Phil Leonard  (802) 259-2694

Well, we had snow and now it's gone.  Mother Nature threw us a curve ball with weather not seen in Vermont for decades.  Everyone and everything were set for the start of a good season that we all had been patiently waiting for . . . then New Year's arrived with a drenching rain that washed away most of the snow and pushed the rivers close to overflowing.  We were able to get out and groom the trails twice before the snow disappeared.

After the rain and wind had subsided, we headed out to check on the condition of our trails.   We found lots of downed trees and a couple areas that had some flood damage.  Once again, we have everything set to go when we get some new snow.

Once snow returns, we remind you to please ride with care until we have a chance to groom and build up the base.  You will find several rough areas and your sleds can easily be damaged aggressive speeds.  It's better to wait and ride when conditions permit rather than damage your sled and get towed back.

The Fireworks we planned for New Year's Eve had to be moved up a day early due to the forecasted rain event.  We had a very large turn out that enjoyed our best display to date.  A big Thank You to all those who helped with the fireworks; it was appreciated by all.

We have constructed a sign board and have many local businesses who have already jumped on board with sponsoring a sign.  We are hoping to fill the sign boards and that riders will soon see the board.

We have a nice supply of club apparel for sale.  T-shirts, long-sleeved shirts, sweatshirts, hats and caps and soon some glassware and Yeti mugs!  Visit our website for more information.  Items can be purchased directly online and shipped to your door.

We would like to remind everyone that during this down time it would be a good idea to support those businesses that rely on snowmobilers.  Send us your photo of your travel and we will post to Facebook.   The lack of snow affects everyone and maybe a lunch or two out-on-town to those who support riders would be greatly appreciated.

Please visit our website at www.mounthollysnowflyers.org for more club news, updates and trail reports.  Like us on Facebook and Instagram.

Our club meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m.  Remote attendance is an option via Zoom with details listed on the website.  All members are welcome to attend meetings.

At this point everyone is waiting for the snow to come and we're keeping our fingers crossed that it does.

Thank You to all landowners that allow us access to your property, our volunteers who spend countless hours keeping the trails and club functioning.  We would like to send a big shout out to our members who purchased a TMA from the Mount Holly Snow Flyers.
