We have a wide variety of fabric and supplies available. The Cavendish town-wide yard sale is being held the same day, so stop to see us on your way to or from the yard sale!

Our Annual Raffle is now online and going strong. We have six terrific prizes and tickets are $2 for one ticket and $10 for a book of ten tickets. You can buy tickets online at http://www.fletcherfarm.org/raffles/. Prize drawings will be held on December 1, 2020, and any one of the prizes would make an excellent holiday gift!

Finally, we are still holding a few classes on campus. On the same weekend as the sale, we have scheduled a Creative Metalworking class as well as a Beginning Spoon Carving class.

For more information on classes, the sale, our raffles, or any other questions, please contact our office. Our office is open Monday-Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. You can reach us at (802) 228-8770.

Living in the country, we enjoy nature and wildlife. Every year we hear of problems with foxes and coyotes killing chickens. I didn't realize until a recent conversation that many of the enclosures don't have a solid floor for the enclosed night area. When we had chickens, we always had a floor and a door that could be locked at night. Thankfully, we never lost a chicken. Others may be able to offer ideas that can keep the chickens safe and not harm our wildlife.

Thank you for the posts.

Best,

Cecile Betit

Cavendish Annual Town Wide Tag Sale

The Cavendish 10th Annual Town Wide Tag Sale will take place on Saturday July 25, from 9-2. All vendors are required to wear masks and practice social distancing. Hand sanitizing and masks are available in two locations-the Proctorsville Green Gazebo and the Cavendish Baptist Church in Cavendish.

It's a great day to find a bargain or that, "do they even make that any more?" item. Organizations, businesses and residents line the streets, village greens, off roads and by ways to help you find a treasure you can't live without. BBQs is available on the Proctorsville Green. Come enjoy a small slice of homegrown Vermont, where everyone sets up, sets out, and sells out.

If you are a Cavendish resident, property owner, business or organization and would like space on one of the greens, and/or would like your location included in the online vendors list, please e-mail cavendishconnects@gmail.com or call 802-226-7807. The online vendors list is available at http://www.cavendishconnects.com/blog/2020/3/10/2020-cavendish-town-wide-tag-sale
