Happy Friday!

Welcome to the weekend folks!  The weather forecast looks to be a nice one, and we even were blessed with a little bit of rain yesterday.

This is the last weekend for FRESH chicken here at the farm stand.  We've got them fresh until Sunday, and from that point on they'll be available frozen.

Our farm stand has been busy this summer and we are meeting so many new faces.  Thank YOU for taking time to stop on by and shop.

Briskets stole the show last week ..  and lucky for you we still have more in the freezer.  And chorizo, yes, we have chorizo!  Conveniently sold in 1lb packages containing 4 links.

We partner with many other farmers so our farm stand is stocked with everything you'll need, and some things you may not even know you need!

Produce this week includes - salad greens, onions, squash, cukes, and garlic.  Sweet corn arrives on Saturday!!

Fresh ravioli, pasta sauces and pesto from our friends at Vermont Fresh Foods are back in stock today.  Delicious meals made easy.
We look forward to seeing you, your family, your friends, your neighbors and anyone else you'd like to bring along!  We are open all weekend, 12:00 - 5:00.

With the summer traffic and haying season, please be mindful of hay equipment, grandkids, vehicles and customers when driving in and out of our driveway.  Our farm stand is located at 1966 Healdville Road in Mount Holly.  Open Tuesdays through Sundays from 12:00pm-5:00pm.  Closed on Mondays!

MEET JACKSON & DOMINIC

Jack & Dom have been helping Gramma in the farm stand ever since they were little.  And every now & then they add their own products.  Here they have their hand packed bags of mulch hay.  Perfect for your garden spots.  They recycle used feed bags and they priced them $1.00 cheaper than last year because "everything else is so expensive this year"!

So if you're looking for a bag of mulch hay and want to save yourself a trip to the big city, stop on by!

Ludlow Rotary Hears from District Governor Randell Barclay

The July 26 luncheon meeting of the Ludlow Rotary Club (LRC) featured District Governor Randell Barclay as the speaker. Barclay, a member of the Wallingford Rotary Club, was accompanied by his Rotarian wife Diana.

Barclay called on all Rotarians to use Rotary's theme for the year, Imagination, as a source of developing approaches
·       to help local and regional projects that benefit communities,
·       to support international efforts such as Ukrainian aid and clean water, and
·       to sustain and enhance club membership.

The District Governor brought a message of Rotary International's continuing commitment of service through clubs worldwide and the connections members can make beyond their local clubs. He spoke of his experience with various international projects that build connections with people in other cultures.  He has travelled to India doing polio vaccinations in the slums to further polio eradication efforts, a top Rotary cause for the past 25 years, as one example.

Barclay encouraged the Ludlow club to remember Rotary is dedicated to causes that build international relationships, improve lives, and create a better world to support peace efforts and end polio forever. DG Barclay urged the club to pursue the Seven Avenues of Service of Rotary International. Those Avenues of Service are promoting peace; fighting disease; providing clean water, sanitation and hygiene; saving mothers and children; supporting education; growing local economies; and protecting the environment.

He applauded the Ludlow Club for their record of retaining members for many years, because they have fun while raising funds for great causes.

Anyone interested in learning more about joining Rotary is invited to contact Kevin Barnes, Membership Chairman at (802) 228-8877, to receive an invitation to a meeting.
