Happy Friday! Welcome to the weekend — and what a weekend it's going to be!

Springtime on the Farm! There is SO much happening around here right now and we just can't help but share! Calving season has wrapped up and we have 11 of the most adorable little calves you've ever laid eyes on, snuggled up inside the big red barn with their mamas. Our laying hens are doing what they do best — delivering the freshest eggs around. Sugaring season has been in full swing — and we wouldn't have it any other way! We've been in the sugar house morning, noon, and night, making the maple syrup you know and love. It's a busy, beautiful time of year on the farm!

Easter is Coming — We've Got You Covered! Looking for something special for your Easter celebrations? Look no further!

Maple Candy — Sweet, beautiful, and absolutely perfect for Easter baskets. Need we say more? Eggs — Whether you're baking, decorating, or whipping up a batch of deviled eggs, we've got you! And this weekend — buy 2 dozen, get 1 dozen FREE! Cheese — Yes, we've got that too! Fresh Organic Spinach — Try it with a simple vinaigrette of oil, vinegar, and a drizzle of our maple syrup. Trust us on this one! Fancy Mustard — Because every Easter ham deserves a little something special!

Gifts for Everyone! We have a beautiful selection of locally crafted candles, soaps, canvas prints, pantry items, and note cards — all made right here in our community. Perfect for gifting or treating yourself!

Stocked Up on Meat & Ready for You! Beef — Ground beef, steaks, liver, shanks, and roasts. Pork — Ground pork, sausage, bacon, chops, ribs, and roasts Not sure what to get? Come on in — we're always happy to help you find the perfect cut!

Fresh Baked Bread — Arriving Saturday! This week we're getting Cinnamon Raisin bread (hello, best French toast of your life!) and multigrain (my personal favorite with a big bowl of soup). And don't sleep on the baked goods — scones from Mountain Robin and irresistible treats from Stevens Farm will be here too. These go fast, so don't wait!

Come See Us This Weekend! We'd love to have you stop in and shop with us. Find us at 1966 Healdville Road in Mount Holly, open Thursday through Sunday, 12:00–5:00. There's plenty of parking out front and we accept cash, check, and credit cards. We can't wait to see you!

Ludlow Rotary Welcomes VAST President Patty Companik

The Ludlow Rotary Club recently welcomed guest speaker Patty Companik, President of the Vermont Association of Snow Travelers (VAST).

Founded in 1967, VAST is a nonprofit, member-based organization that maintains Vermont's 4,000-mile snowmobile trail system. This network is supported largely by dedicated volunteers who groom trails, organize fundraisers, manage communications, and keep operations running smoothly. Their efforts help provide a safe and enjoyable outdoor experience for riders of all ages and skill levels.

Companik emphasized the critical role of private landowners, noting that about 80% of Vermont's trails cross privately owned land. She expressed VAST's deep appreciation for the cooperation that makes the statewide trail system possible.

Snowmobiling is also a major economic driver, contributing more than $550 million annually to Vermont's economy and supporting local businesses - from lodging and restaurants to gas stations, repair shops, and equipment retailers. The ripple effect is felt throughout many rural communities, and even influences the real estate market, as seasonal visitors and second-home owners are drawn to areas with trail access.

Those interested in getting started are encouraged to explore guided rides through organizations such as Snowmobile Vermont, which provide instruction and a safe introduction to the trails. Riders must have a registered snowmobile, liability insurance, and a trail pass. Individuals born after 1983 must also complete a safety course.

For more information, visit VAST at www.vast.org.

The Ludlow Rotary Club welcomes community members to its Tuesday lunch meetings. Those interested in learning more or getting involved are encouraged to reach out to a local member.
