Interested in working on the shores of Lake Ninevah this summer?

Part time, boat access greeter needed for the Lake Ninevah Aquatic Invasive Species Prevention Programs to provide courtesy boat checks and collect important data about boater use and visitation. Weekend days required, June-October. $21.50 per hour including

paid training time. Must be available June 20th, 2026 to attend in person training. Must be 18+ to apply.

Description of Work:

-Approaching and interacting with boaters

-Inspecting watercraft

-Identifying and handling suspicious specimens

-Collecting and reporting data

-Distributing educational material on aquatic invasive species

Mount Holly Open Studio is 4 Days Away!

Seven Mount Holly artists will participate together in the Spring VCC Open Studio Weekend on Saturday and Sunday, May 23–24, from 10 to 5 at the Community Room, located beneath the library.

The participating artists are Susan Presson, Della Thompson, Madeleine Fay, Chad Farrar, Carl Mitchell, Linda McGrath and Zhena Dickinson Hadar.

Please stop by! Throughout the weekend, the artists will rotate attendance and discuss their creative processes. Entrance is free, refreshments will be served and we look forward to seeing you there!!

Light southeast wind becoming south 5 to 10 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
