Welcome to the Weekend!

The weekend is here and so is the holiday season!  And a little bit of snow fell the other night giving the ground an almost complete cover.

We have been busy stocking and restocking our maple syrup shelves and are ready for you and your shopping lists!  We've got our award winning wood fired Vermont maple syrup at the ready for you here in the farm stand.  Maple cream and maple almonds too!  Bring your lists, we'll help you cross them off!

We've added some new seasonings from our friends at Fox Meadow Farm.  And they are perfect for holiday gift boxes.  Vermont Maple & Pepper Seasoning along with Maple Dessert and Baking Sugar!  Stop on by and take a look.

Fresh bread arrives on Saturday - woo hoo!  And we expect to have some home baked goodies from Mountain Robin as well.

Ground beef anyone?!  I know I'll be putting a pot of chili on the menu for the weekend.  We've got chili mix here as well.

A HUGE shout out to our cyber Monday shoppers!  We were thrilled to be able to ship our maple syrup and products to you and your loved ones.  Still time to shop our website folks!

And yesterday we had our 4,000th farm stand customer for this year.  As we've said many times before, we have the best customers!

Reminder ... We are closed Mondays AND Tuesdays for the month of December.

With the exception of service dogs, no dogs allowed at the farm.  Please be mindful of farm equipment, grandkids, vehicles and customers when driving in and out of our driveway.  Our farm stand is located at 1966 Healdville Road in Mount Holly.

Hi Shrewsberries –
Vicky Arthur and I put an article in the December/January Times about the Village to Village
Network (VtoVN). This is a follow-up nudge about it.

VtoVN is a consumer-driven, grassroots model that has been put into practice in many
communities around the country, including a few in Vermont. Local Villages become the
foundation for connecting members to a full range of support services to help with non-medical
household tasks, services, programs and transportation. Vicky and I think it might help many of
us who love living where we do but are afraid that we'll have to move away at some point.

We are working to schedule a meeting with someone from the VtoVN to come talk with a larger
group of Shrewsberries sometime relatively soon. We invite people of any age to join us and
learn more!

If you would be interested in attending a meeting with an experienced Village to Village
Network participant and learning more about their model, please contact Vicky at
singtolive57@gmail.com or Sally at sjdad3@gmail.com. We have received calls of interest
based on the Times article. We hope for more from this message.
As soon as we have a date firmed with a knowledgeable speaker, we'll let everyone  know!
