Dear towns people, The Shrewsbury Mountain School PTO is currently running a fundraiser not to be missed. We've put a Shrewsbury VT logo onto a 10oz. Yeti travel mug. These mugs are available in three colors: yellow, blue and stainless steel (while supplies last) and can be purchased at both Pierce's Store and Stewart Maple Marketplace. The cost is $25 with all proceeds benefiting the school. A huge thank you to them both for their generosity in helping us vend these items. Hi Everyone, Now that Thanksgiving is fast approaching us, I have to get this paper done so asking for everyone's help. The deadline is Sunday November 20th, by 6:00 pm for the December issue. That's right the Christmas issue. Please have all articles, announcements, advertisements and any other item to me by then. I have moved up the date by two days so as to have time to do my own Thanksgiving preparations. Thanks for all your help with items for our paper. Welcome to the Weekend!
What are your plans for the weekend?! We're expecting some rain and I think a few flakes of snow here and there next week.
We moved the cows and calves into the barn last week, and they are quite content! Dry bedded pack and delicious hay - what more can you ask for?! Our turkeys are foraging and growing! Please note, we are sold out of Thanksgiving turkeys.
And the weather held out long enough for us to finish painting the farm house! There's a few small sections remaining that need repair before we can paint, so we'll do that next spring.
Our bread bakers will be taking the weekend off. However, I will have some of their bread in the freezer, phew! Ravioli, take and bake pizzas, organic veggies, dairy, cider, saurerkraut and more are awaiting your arrival.

With the exception of service dogs, no dogs allowed at the farm. Please be mindful of farm equipment, grandkids, vehicles and customers when driving in and out of our driveway. Our farm stand is located at 1966 Healdville Road in Mount Holly. Open Tuesdays through Sundays from 12:00pm-5:00pm. Closed on Mondays!
