Welcome to the weekend and the start of a brand new month!
Spring has sprung here at the farm. The pastures are greening up, the sun has been shining, and the daffodils are blooming. The cattle are in the big red barn, waiting for the pastures to mature just a bit more before they head out for the season. The laying hens have been enjoying getting outside, cleaning up bugs and such. And we will be raising pigs again this year after a few years without. We brought in piglets earlier this week and when they're old enough, they'll be heading outside as well. Our farm stand is open for the weekend (12:00-5:00). We love having you stop by and shop local. You're not only supporting our farm, but our farm partners as well. And for that we thank you. Pantry shelves are lined with honey, coffee beans, pancake mix, vinegar, vinegar tonics, jams, note cards, mustards, soaps, dishcloths, canvas prints and shadow boxes. You see, something for everyone! In the maple department, we've got maple syrup, bourbon barrel aged maple syrup, maple candy, maple cream, maple sugar, and maple almonds. Let us satisfy your sweet tooth. We will be extending our meat box sale one more weekend. So if you missed out last week, rest assured you can grab one this weekend. $90.00 value for $75.00.
