Come join us for a Barn Tour

Saturday October 10th, 2020!

The Mount Holly Barn Preservation Association, whose mission is to SAVE Vermont Barns, is sponsoring the event to raise funds to help preserve these magnificent structures.

Here's the details.

For a small donation fee, participants will be given a map containing the location of six local barns. (All within short driving distance)  There's nothing quite like viewing these structures up close and in person.  You can visit just a few or decide to see them all.  Owners/representatives will be at each barn to greet you and share its unique architectural features and answer questions about its history.  (Many of the barns were recipients of the State of Vermont's  Historic Preservation Barn Grants)  In addition to meandering around and within the barns,  there will be local Vermont vendors selling yummy Vermont products (think cheese, maple syrup, craft beer etc.) with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the association.

Barns will be open from 10AM to 4PM.  The starting point (check in) will be at 61 Church Street Belmont Vermont, just a 10 minute drive from Ludlow and 20 minutes from Rutland.   The donation fee is $20 per carload of people.

Masks will be required and social distancing guidelines for COVID will be followed.  We want to keep everyone safe.

Just a great way to spend a fabulous fall day in Vermont!
