Happy Friday folks and welcome to the weekend. Spring has arrived here at the farm, with green grass growing, daffodils blooming, and sun shining!

Our farm stand is open for the weekend, are you ready to shop? Inside the farm stand you'll find we have our very own meat, farm fresh eggs, along with our award- winning, wood-fired maple syrup. In addition to our products, we partner with about 25 other local farmers/growers/producers to help round out our selection. Honey, ice cream, veggies, baked goods, soaps, pizzas and a whole lot more. Thank you for shopping local!

Inflation buster - tariff free meat sale happening this weekend! We have a limited number of meat boxes on sale this weekend only. Each box contains: 3 packages of ground beef patties (1 pound each), 1 package of ground pork (1lb), 2 packages of ham steaks (sizes vary), 1 package sweet sausage (1 lb), & 1 package of hot sausage (1 lb). $90 value, on sale for $75. Quantities are limited, so shop earlier rather than later if you're interested in a box.

Need a dinner idea this weekend?! Get that grill or smoker ready and grab yourself a package of ribs! Or try a steak, NY Strip, Ribeye, or Sirloin. Can't go wrong with any of these. Stop on by and we'd be happy to help you choose.

The farm stand will be open through the weekend from 12:00 - 5:00. We are located at 1966 Healdville Road in Mount Holly, across the road from our friends at Crowley Cheese! We'd love to see you if you're out and about.

APRIL SHOWERS BRING MAY FLOWERS WORKSHOP
Actually it was a snow storm, causing the cancellation of the Cavendish Historical Society's April Paper Flower workshop. To celebrate springtime, CHS has rescheduled the workshop for May 10, from 10-12 at the Cavendish Community Library in Proctorsville.

Participants can make a wide variety of flowers from various types of paper. Since the celebrations are now underway celebrating the 250th anniversary (Semiquincentennial) of the start of the Revolutionary War-Cavendish has many Patriots buried here-it's a good time to learn how to make a wide array of red, white and blue flowers.

The workshop is free, open to the public with projects for all ages and abilities and has been made possible in part thanks to the Cavendish Community Fund. FMI: margocaulfield@icloud.com or 802-226-7807.
