It's Friday, and it's 20 degrees cooler this morning than it has been all week. And that makes us happy here at the farm! Fresh chicken season is here and we've got them in the farm stand just waiting for you. Fresh, not frozen, and simply the best tasting chicken around. The grandkids have had a busy start to their summer, thanks to all of you! Jackson & Dominic continually sell out weekly of their hand-packed bags of mulch hay. Don't worry, we are stocked and ready for the weekend. All 3 grandkids make, market, and sell their hand-squeezed lemonade in the farm stand on Thursdays and Fridays. And again, they sell out every single week! Thank you! In the farm stand this weekend we will have a variety of goods! Salad greens, cucumbers, zucchini, garlic, onions, carrots, beets, fresh bread, and baked goods. Let's not forget we have a selection of jams, mustards, honey, yogurt, cheese, pizzas and ice cream! We had alot of ice cream pass through the farm stand doors this past week. We may have had an ice cream bar or two ourselves! Beef and pork await your dinner plans. Steaks, ground, sausage, ribs, and roast. Stop on by and let's see what we can help you with for dinner. We'd love to have you stop by and visit our farm stand. We are located at 1966 Healdville Road in Mount Holly. Hours are Wednesday through Sunday from 12:00-6:00. Bring a friend - don't shop alone! With the summer season upon us, please be mindful of hay equipment, customer traffic, and grandkids as you drive in and out of the driveway.
