Happy Friday from the Farm!Another week in the books and another weekend headed your way! And oh, the weather! Cool mornings, crisp air, and sunshine all day long. It’s one of our favorite seasons here on the farm. How about you? Busy Days on the FarmDaily chores keep us busy ... feeding and tending to the laying hens, the turkeys, the pigs, the calves, and the cows. The cows continue to graze the pastures around the farm, and get moved regularly to fresh grass. And the big task this week, every wrapped round bale has been hauled in from the fields and stacked at the farm. Winter feed is ready! Holiday Turkeys Are Calling!Speaking of turkeys, we have available for your holiday table! This year, they’ll be frozen. Pasture raised right here on our farm (you may have seen them out strutting as you drive by!). They always sell out early, so give us a shout and get on the turkey list sooner rather than later. - Meat: steaks, roasts, sausage, and more
- Farm fresh eggs, always at the ready
- Veggies: onions, garlic, potatoes, greens, carrots, and beets
- The fridge: cheese, butter, yogurt, and apple cider
- The shelves: jams, mustard, vinegar, coffee, soaps, honey, pancake mix, and more
