Making Star Lake the best that it can be has been on the minds of Mount
Hollyites for a while now. Many people contributed ideas via the
community survey for the Mount Holly Town Plan. The MH Conservation
Trust commissioned an environmental study of the lake. And the MH
Conservation Commission has developed some plans -and even raised a bit
of money - to start turning ideas into progress
Now is the time for action! Come find out what's possible, add your ideas, and help make the Future of Star Lake a great one!

Memorial Day Weekend is here, can you believe it?! And Mother Nature has had a few things up her sleeve this week. Nothing but rain, cold temperatures (35 degrees this morning), and wind. Some say we could see a few snowflakes today. Yikes!

The cattle are out of the barn and out on pasture and loving it! We move them daily to a new section of fresh grass in each of our farm pastures. Perhaps you'll see them when you drive by!

New farm stand hours! We will now have our farm stand open 5 days a week for your summer shopping pleasure! Open Wednesdays through Sundays, 12:00 - 5:00.

What's on your schedule for the holiday weekend? Grilling? Or perhaps a crock pot of beef stew!! Either way, stop on by and let us help you with your meat selection. We have steaks (ribeyes, sirloin, strips), ground beef and pre-made patties, stewing beef, and roasts. Don't forget our bone-in chops (great for the grill), brats, ham steaks, shoulder roasts (bbq pulled pork anyone?!), and sausage.

We'll have a few rhubarb pies in the farm stand on Saturday. Made from scratch with rhubarb from our garden. Freshly baked bread also arrives on Saturday. And we are stocked with Millicent's famous sourdough English muffins.

Now open Wednesdays through Sundays from 12:00-5:00. Cash, checks and credit cards accepted. Located at 1966 Healdville Road in Mount Holly. We look forward to seeing you this weekend!

Hello Friends of Live Music,

We are excited to announce that the Shrewsbury Meeting House Concert Series is back for a sixth year! The 2025 series starts on Friday, June 13 at 6 pm outside the Meeting House, and we'll move inside if it's too rainy.

All concerts are on Friday evenings at 6 pm. See the poster with full schedule below.

We hope you join us, bring your friends, family, picnics, and have lots of fun listening to all the bands. We have a food vendor on site as well!

And nobody likes to ask for money, but it definitely puts us in a more secure position to pay musicians as we get the concert series rolling if we have some funds before the first band arrives! So, we again have the need for a CSM. Please consider contributing now. It's Community Supported Music. (see contact info below).

Our audience is our only source of financial support. We have no business sponsors.

What's a CSM?: You contribute $ up front before the Series begins, and enjoy up to 6 concerts this season. Think about an amount you might give for a concert and then multiply that times the number of concerts you might attend. If you would like to "contribute as you go", we welcome that as well, and are grateful for your attendance.

Regardless of your ability or desire to contribute before or that day, we want you to attend. It's important that Everyone gets to have the joyous experience of live music here in Shrewsbury.

We thank you ahead of time for your generosity!
