Happy Friday !
It's Friday folks and the start of a holiday weekend. We will have our farm stand open today through Sunday. Hours are 12:00 - 5:00.
We're welcoming some new subscribers to our weekly newsletter, so thought we'd give you all a glimpse of Plew Farm!
Did you know:
We are a veteran owned and operated diversified farm located in Mount Holly, Vermont. Owned and operated by husband and wife, Kevin & Patti Plew.
We raise beef cattle, pasture raised meat chickens, laying hens, pasture raised turkeys, and pigs. In the springtime you'll find us in our sugar house producing the most amazing wood fired maple syrup. And in the summer months you can find us in the hayfield, making round and square bales of feed hay.
We have a farm stand located at our farm where you can shop for our meat, our eggs, our maple syrup along with a variety of goodies from our local farm partners.
Together we proudly raised our 5 boys - yup 5! And we are grandparents to 3 amazing grandchildren, who often help out here at the farm,in the barn, in the farm stand, in the sugar house, and in the hayfield.
You can also purchase our award winning maple syrup, maple cream and maple almonds from our website. Open 24/7 to shop from the comfort of your home.
We thank you all for following along and invite you to stop on by our farm stand, visit our website, or simply wave when you're driving by.
If you'd like a copy, the town office has them, as well as many local eateries in Ludlow. The edition features Andrew Molen, chef at many local Ludlow restaurants, who chose to feature Reinbow Riding as an organization he supports. We're excited to have him on our team!
If you'd like to know how you can support the organization, please reach out to me.
We have a need for just about anything you might want to bring to our programs; from barn maintenance skills, horse interaction, educational specialties to organizational skills, you name your desire to help, and we'll find a fit. :)
