| | Artful Ice Shanties Are Back |

Artists, winter enthusiasts, and builders of all ages and experience levels are hard at work on their contributions to the annual Artful Ice Shanties outdoor exhibit, which will be on view from Saturday, Feb. 17, to Sunday, Feb. 25, from dawn to dusk, at Retreat Farm. Last year, more than 2,000 people visited the exhibit. A variety of light-hearted awards will be handed out on Saturday, Feb. 24, at 3 p.m., followed by an all-ages outdoor dance party. The exhibition, awards ceremony, and dance party will take place on Retreat Farm grounds at 45 Farmhouse Square. Mount Holly artist Leah Kaspar Knoll will have an Ice Shanty included in this exhibit. It's sooo fun! Great to visit 17th and 18th and also see the Harris Hill Ski Jump in Brattleboro. |
