Today's Forecast: A chance of rain and snow after 3pm. Cloudy, with a high near 37. Southeast wind 16 to 21 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New rainfall amounts less than a tenth of an inch possible.

WINTER STORM WARNING

* WHAT...Heavy wet snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 6
to 14 inches. Localized south to southeast wind gusts of 35 to
45 mph on north and western slopes of the Green Mountains and
northern Adirondacks tonight. Wind gusts on Monday become
widespread out of the west or northwest at 30 to 35 mph.

* WHERE...Portions of northern New York and central, northwest
and southern Vermont.

* WHEN...From 7 PM EST this evening to 8 PM EDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Scattered to numerous power outages could occur.
Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The hazardous
travel conditions are most likely Sunday morning and Monday
morning.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow will come in two rounds. A mix of snow
and rain will develop this afternoon. There will likely be a
period of heavy, wet snow tonight into Sunday morning. Snow
levels rise on Sunday afternoon before falling again Sunday
night. Snow will redevelop, and may be moderate to heavy along
western slopes of the northern Greens and Adirondacks.

Information:
If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency.

Okemo Valley Celebrates Grand Opening of Yeah Wine Shop in Lamere Square

Ludlow, VT: The Okemo Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce recently celebrated the grand opening of Yeah Wine Shop, a natural wine store, in Lamere Square in Ludlow, Vermont. The ribbon cutting event was accompanied by a wonderful wine tasting afternoon. Yeah Wine Shop has a vast variety of natural wines made both locally as well as from around the world. Stop by to browse their unique selection of natural wines with both big and subtle flavors.

For the ribbon cutting ceremony, Karen Kraut, Owner, and Eric Kraut cut the ribbon together with Chamber Executive Director Carol Lighthall holding the ribbon on the left and Assistant Chamber Director Leah Krieble on the right.
