Hi everyone,
We are doing a BOTTLE DRIVE to benefit our nonprofit Bickford Boxing and Fitness. We were just about ready to open the gym for boxing classes when we had to close due to coronavirus. We still have overhead (rent, utilities) and were in the midst of projects such as a logo and final renovations to gym. Now without any membership fees coming in from the gym or classes going on, we are hoping this can be a way to cover some of our costs.
BOTTLE DRIVE DATES: SUNDAY APRIL 19th & SUNDAY MAY 3
Here's how it works: Email grmacklin@gmail.com with your address if you'd like to participate and confirm which date(s) you will participate for. On that date leave your VT returnable cans bagged outside your house for us to pick up. To participate you must be in the Mount Holly/Ludlow area.
Safety Precautions: We will be wearing proper PPE and will store returnables in our barn until enough time has passed that germs could not be spread from them, and when it is safer to return them to a local station.

Bickford Boxing and Fitness seeks to provide opportunity and mentor-ship to both youth and adults in an accepting and understanding environment. Through various boxing based courses, training, and the facility itself, men and women will learn the technical side of boxing, challenging themselves both physically and mentally. We believe that engagement in this sport, along with mentor-ship and support, will help community members develop focus, perseverance, emotional and physical strength, strategy, and dedication. Our facility, which also offers a 24/7 cardio and weight gym, is located at 6 Andover St in Ludlow.
