Happy Friday, friends!

We're already looking forward to another great weekend here at the farm, and honestly? It's all because of you. Thank you for showing us so much love and shopping local at our farm stand. We simply have the best customers around.

Save the Date: Vermont Open Farm Week

Get ready to celebrate local food and farms! Vermont Open Farm Week is an annual celebration happening at farms all across the state, and it's your chance to meet the farmers, plants, and animals behind your favorite Vermont products. Come get to know your farmer and take a peek behind the scenes at Vermont's working agricultural landscape.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, August 8th — Plew Farm will be joining in with a farm tour and wood-fired pizza! We're finalizing the details now, so keep an eye on your inbox and our social pages for more.

This Weekend at the Farm Stand

Our tables will be piled high with freshly baked bread, sourdough English muffins, and all kinds of delicious baked goods. Get here early — these go fast!

The grandkids have their hand-squeezed lemonade for sale in the farm stand. Every Thursday and Friday. Made with lots of love, this lemonade is so refreshing on these summer afternoons.

Raspberries are back and just as irresistible as ever. We can't keep them in stock! Try them stirred into some Larson Farm yogurt — you can thank us later.

FRESH chicken is on hand this weekend too. Roast one up for Sunday dinner, and tuck one in the freezer for later.

And of course... burgers anyone? Our ground beef makes the best burgers around, trust us. With toppings or without, you can't go wrong — though we're partial to a little drizzle of maple on ours. Go figure!

We're open through Sunday, 12:00 – 5:00. Stop by and say hello — we'd love to see you.

SUCCESSFUL PARADE AND BARBECUE ON THE FOURTH OF JULY

The members of Colfax Lodge #21 would like to thank the many people who made our town’s 4th of July a big success. With special thanks to the Kelley Family and friends for providing a great barbecue that so many of us enjoyed. We would like to recognize the many that participated to help make the parade our best event ever. What a great turnout to celebrate our nation’s 250th.

From the music provided by Jeb Porter and friends, and the Color Guard that led the parade, they only added to our event on such a nice day. The day was a huge success for our community. Please plan to share some photographs with the museum. They have photographs of our bicentennial parade held in 1976 and of our state’s 200th in 1991 and our towns in 1992. We hope you plan to be with us next year as we celebrate Vermont’s 250th anniversary of declaring its independence and adopting our constitution in 1777. It only took another 14 years to become the 14th state.
