Are You Familiar With Community Health? In the month of August, we celebrate Community Health Centers, also known as FQHCs (Federally Qualified Health Centers). Community Health, based in Rutland, is the largest of the 11 FQHCs in the state of Vermont. Community Health is a primary care network that provides accessible and affordable adult and pediatric medical, dental, behavioral health and walk-in Express Care in a culture of community and quality in Rutland and southern Addison counties. In Vermont, FQHCs provide care to approximately one in four Vermonters. Every August, the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) highlights the commitment and passion of community health center staff, board members and supporters who make it possible to provide quality, affordable, comprehensive healthcare services to millions of Americans.
