Farm News

How's your summer going?!  We've been enjoying ours, complete with meeting new folks vacationing in town as well as catching up with friends as they shop our farm stand.
Summer farm chores include chicken processing each and every Wednesday.  Have you picked up your fresh chicken yet?!  Haying is also a big part of our summer chores, however, mother nature often times has her say int it as well.  Have to make hay when the weather cooperates!
Cattle, meat birds and laying hens are enjoying the summer sun and fresh grass.

Our farm stand shelves are stocked with all your favorites!  We will be picking up more produce variety as the summer goes on, and we are excited to let you know that we will have CORN and GREEN BEANS in the farm stand on Saturday!!

Also on our shelves you'll find, maple syrup, maple cream and maple almonds!
We'll be open all weekend and have a great selection of goodies for you to browse.  We are open every day 12:00 - 6:00.

If you are interested in a gardening job, please contact me.  I had two young women hired, but they were over-extended.  I have a broken wrist and torn meniscus, so I cannot do the work myself.  Specifically two beds need to have ferns and raspberry suckers pulled.  The beds have been neglected for two decades.  Once the soil is raked, there are plants here to be bedded.  Thank you.  Contact Joan @ 259-2773 or connor@ohio.edu
