Happenings Around the Farm!
We are in the midst of sugaring season and have spent many afternoons and evenings in the sugar house this week making delicious wood-fired maple syrup. You can get your supply of our fresh wood-fired maple syrup at our farm stand or by shopping our website!
And just like that, our first batch of meat chicks arrived at the farm this week! They will stay inside the barn under their brooder until they are old enough to go outside...and when the pastures are ready to accept them!
The pigs are doing what they do naturally -- growing! And we are waiting on one more calf to arrive, which we think might happen this weekend. We'll post a picture when it does! The farm stand remains busy and we'll be open all weekend for your shopping convenience. We've got chicken, pork, beef, eggs, maple, honey, produce, dairy, pizza, gelato, and so much more. It's best to stop on by and take a look for yourself! Please note, we will not be receiving a bread delivery this weekend, however, we do have a supply of 3 Bears Bakery bread in our freezer. Just defrost the loaves on your counter. Be sure to follow us on instagram and facebook to stay informed! Our farm stand is open Tuesdays through Sundays from 12:00-5:00 (closed on Mondays). We ask that you wear a mask when shopping inside the farm stand and only 1 person and/or family inside at a time.
