| Happy Friday everyone! Grab your coffee and pull up a chair and welcome to your Friday edition of Plew Farm News! It rained! We finally got some much needed rain over the last couple of days. Our area is now in an extreme drought, so the rain was a welcome site. We need more to get out of the drought, but we are grateful for what we've received so far. Keep doing the rain dance folks! Fresh chicken season is winding down. We'll have fresh chickens in the farm stand this weekend. Next week will be the last weekend for fresh. We will have frozen chickens available through the remaining months. We are expecting to see our 3,000th farm stand customer for 2025 this weekend. Will it be you?! Thank you all for keeping your shopping local and for supporting our farm and our farm partners. We appreciate all of you. Eggs. Did I tell you we have eggs?! A month ago we were collecting about 65 eggs a day. Yesterday we collected 191 eggs. And the farm stand is fully stocked! Come on by for the best farm fresh eggs around. We'd love for you to stop by this weekend. Farm stand hours are Wednesdays through Sundays from 12:00-5:00. We are located at 1966 Healdville Road in Mount Holly. Cash, checks, and credit cards accepted. We are a working farm. Please be mindful of farm equipment, customer traffic, & grandkids as you drive in and out of the driveway. |
