The Town of Mount Holly is looking for someone to run for the office of Cemetery Commissioner. We have three commissioners and one is elected every year to a three-year term. You do not actually have to mow and trim. We try to find volunteers to perform that task. We are responsible to oversee the town's cemeteries. You need to file by Tuesday at the town office.

Maple Monday!

It's Monday!! And many of us are waking up to fresh snow on the ground. Can't think of a better way to start the week.

And with this new week, let's share a new recipe. It's been super cold here in Mount Holly and nothing warms the body, soul and kitchen better than some good baking!

Salted Maple Dinner Rolls. I know we'll be making this recipe for Thanksgiving, but I don't see any reason whatsoever not to make them now! Warm and fluffy and served with maple butter, this has the potential to be a weekly recipe folks. Serve alongside your chicken dinner, or simply with a bowl of chowder. Give 'em a whirl, and let me know what you think!

Visit our website for all your Vermont maple shopping needs. Syrup, almonds, cream, candy and more. You shop, we'll ship.
