Please join us on February 18th at 7 PM at the Mount Holly Town Library as we present "The Epic of Everest", the official film record of the ill-fated 1924 British expedition and the subsequent disappearance of George Mallory and Andrew Irvine. Their fate remained a mystery until the discovery of George Mallory's body high on the slopes of the North Face of the mountain in 1999.
The movie will be presented in the Community Room underneath the library.

Happy Friday!

Another weekend is here and the start of a good one at that.  We've got some milder temperatures this morning here at the farm with the possibility of some precipitation throughout the day.

We have our calving pens ready in the big red barn and expect to see the first calf within the next couple of weeks.  Keep an eye on our social media pages for cute calf pics!

We have been in the sugar bush tapping trees, fixing lines and getting the sugar house in order for the season.  We're looking forward to sugaring!

Inside the farm stand we've got our shelves stocked and ready for you to shop.  Last weeks big seller was Walnut Hill Farm's salami!  Wow, I didn't anticipate that many salamis to leave the stand.  Looks like I'll need to pick up more this weekend.

Also on our shelves you'll find we have maple syrup, honey, mustards, bbq sauce, seasonings, and vinegar.  Pizza and gelato in the freezers.  And cheese, milk, yogurt, cider in the fridge!  Seasonal produce table contains apples, carrots, onions, garlic, squash, and beets.

Need a gift for someone special (or yourself)?  We've got some beautiful canvas prints as well as hand crafted wood shadow boxes.  And note cards too!

We're looking forward to seeing you this weekend.  Don't shop alone, bring a friend!  We'll be open through the weekend from 12:00 - 5:00.

Free COVID Tests Available at the Town Office through March 31

The Mount Holly Town Office has at-home COVID-19 antigen tests available for free to the public.
These tests are for the purpose of detecting an active COVID-19 infection in individuals 2 years of age and older, and have been provided to the Town by the Vermont Department of Health.

Tests are available on a first-come, first-served basis, for pickup during normal Town Office hours, Monday-Thursday, 8-4 pm. Up to four antigen kits (8 tests total) may be taken per person, until supplies run out. There is no total limit on households with more than one person.

Please note that the tests available for free pick-up have original printed expirations dated in 2022. On August 29, 2022, the FDA approved extended expiration date extensions for multiple brands of COVID-19 rapid antigen tests, including those being distributed by the Town. The tests available for pick-up at the Town Office now expire on March 31, 2023.
