Hi Everyone,

Here we are spring and the early flowers are popping through the ground with the pussy willows coming out and the grass turning greener with each passing shower. New life, new beginning and a new spring to enjoy.

It is time for another Chit Chat Deadline on Wednesday, April 22nd, by 6:00 pm for the May issue. Please have all articles, announcements, advertisements and any other item you wish to share with our community to me by then.

We will be celebrating our Country’s 250 Anniversary this year!

Mother's Day is coming, and let's be honest... if we leave it up to them, you might end up with a last-minute card and a gas station bouquet. 😅 So consider this your sign to lovingly outsource the task—send your people in to see me, and I'll make sure they walk out with something you'll actually be excited to open.

Also, a quick heads up—my due date has been moved up (surprise!), so our hours may shift a bit between 4/20–4/26. We'll be posting real-time updates on Facebook and Instagram stories, so give those a peek before heading over. If you don't see anything besides our usual posts, then we're open our regular hours: Wed-Sat 11am-6pm & Sundays 11am-7pm.

Thank you, as always, for being the kind of community that makes this little shop so special. 💛

Monday & Tuesday: 9am-12pm & 4-6pm
Wednesday: 9am-12pm
Thursday & Friday: 9am-12pm & 4-6pm
Saturday & Sunday: No deliveries

If you need more than one delivery per month, just ask about our additional delivery options and costs. Give us a call at 802-775-4321 for more information about getting on a delivery schedule.

New Pharmacy Consultation Room
Community Pharmacy in Rutland now has a private space for you to ask a pharmacist how to properly take a medication or ask for information on the purpose of a medication, its interaction with other medications, side effects and precautions you need to be aware of.

"The counseling area provides a space for patients to have a one-on-one with a pharmacist to review their medications and discuss any questions they may have," said Community Health Pharmacist Ryan Waltzer, PharmD. "A consultation room increases privacy, personalizes care and improves medication management and healthcare outcomes."

Community Pharmacy - Rutland, located on Woodstock Ave. (in the former Beauchamp & O'Rourke Pharmacy), is a full-service pharmacy offering prescription fulfillment, medication counseling and assistance with medication affordability through Community Health's Sliding Fee Discount Program.

"Pharmacists are the most accessible healthcare providers in the community, and patients aren't always familiar with the full range of expertise and customer service a pharmacist can offer," Waltzer said. "The counseling room provides an opportunity to ask your pharmacist sensitive questions about medical conditions, medication options, and costs in a comfortable setting."

Community Health patients will benefit from the coordinated care between their Community Health provider and Community Pharmacy, making it easier to manage medications and address overall health and wellness by taking advantage of our full-service, conveniently located pharmacy.
