TOWN CEMETERY VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

We are looking for a few volunteers to mow or trim in our town cemeteries. Towns are required to provide some maintenance, so they need to be trimmed about 3 times between June and October. The only town cemetery currently with lots available for sale is the Packer Cemetery. The large Mechanicsville Cemetery in Belmont is a private association.

If interested, please contact me with a message at 802-259-2460 or ddevereux@vermontel.net for a site visit.

MAPLE MONDAY

Hello, Monday! We've been counting down all week to share this one with you.

We know — maple syrup and summer salads might not be the first pairing that comes to mind. But trust us on this one: grilled peaches brushed with our wood-fired maple syrup, caramelized until soft, golden, and just barely smoky? Game changer.

This week's recipe is a Maple-Grilled Peach Salad — peppery arugula, toasted pecans, thin red onion, and a maple-Dijon vinaigrette pulling it all together. Light, fresh, and just sweet enough. No peaches yet where you are? Any ripe stone fruit will do the trick.

And remember — it all starts with the real stuff. Our wood-fired, award-winning pure Vermont maple syrup is what makes recipes like this one sing. We've got every size ready to ship, so grab a bottle (or three) and get grilling. Visit our website and shop!
