It's the Weekend!
We are so enjoying this summer weather, although a wee bit of rain wouldn't hurt.
Kevin's been able to put in some time in the hay fields this past week. It's always nice to be able to have multiple nice days in a row to get the fields cut, tedded, raked, baled and hauled.
Chicken processing occurs on Wednesday here at the farm, providing our customers with fresh chicken in the farm stand Thursdays through Sundays. Nothing better than a Plew Farm fresh chicken! The cattle are making their way around the farm, moving into a new pasture every day. We often include pics in our Instagram stories. Hop on over and stay in informed!
We were super excited to welcome our 2,000th farm stand customer for this year! Thank you Robin, and everyone else who has taken time to stop by and shop with us. We truly appreciate each and every one of you. Beef shanks on sale this weekend folks! Our beef shanks are perfect for recipes such as Osso Buco, which we made last night, or to use for your favorite bone broth recipe. And we've got them on sale Friday through Sunday, save $1.00 per pound. Stock up and be ready for the winter! Don't forget the burger for grilling this weekend. Our pre-made burger patties will save you time in the kitchen! BBQ sauces, mustards, honey, hot sauce and so much more ready for you here at the farm stand.
And remember we have an online store for those of you who are in need of some maple!
With the summer traffic and haying season, please be mindful of hay equipment, grandkids, vehicles and customers when driving in and out of our driveway. Our farm stand is located at 1966 Healdville Road in Mount Holly. Open Tuesdays through Sundays from 12:00pm-5:00pm. Closed on Mondays!
Fresh chicken is now available Thursdays through Sundays at the farm stand! Roast them whole and use your leftovers (if there are any!) for sandwiches, soups, casseroles and more!
We'll have fresh chicken for the next 3 weeks. Frozen chicken also available.
Due to increased costs of feed, fuel, supplies, etc., we will not be offering our unbagged chicken special this year.
