Greetings Community Outreach Specialists!

The Rutland Regional Planning Commission is holding the first public hearing in the adoption process for the proposed 2026 Rutland Regional Plan (a publication your community has been working on for the past three years).

At the hearing, the RRPC will accept general and specific comments on whether the proposed Plan conforms to the state planning goals in 24 V.S.A. ?4302.

The hearing details and draft plan are available at: rutlandrpc.org/plan2026.

*In addition to the formal hearing at our office on March 17th, we are hosting (3) supplemental meetings around the region to give folks (those who choose not to attend the formal hearing) the opportunity to join the discussion.

These meetings are being held in Brandon, Wallingford, and Poultney. We are aware that community newsletters are normally published once a month however for those of you who still might have open deadlines and might be able to publish within the period of the meetings, we would love help getting the word out.

Reach out with any questions.

Dear LMHUUSD Community,

This is a friendly reminder about tonight's Annual Informational Meeting for the Ludlow Mount-Holly School District.  The meeting will take place at Ludlow Elementary School, Room 3, at 6:00 PM.  You can also participate remotely by using the following link: https://trsu.zoom.us/j/87442013056?jst='2 .

On Friday, we will send out electronically and post updated school tax rate information for both Ludlow and Mount Holly.  Due to recent changes, the estimated tax rates are now slightly better than what was contained in the annual report.   We want to ensure everyone has the most current information as they head to the polls next week.

Most sincerely,

Layne Millington

TRSU Superintendent

Hello folks!

Were you at Star Lake on Sunday for Winterfest?

Did you happen to return home to find you had an extra sled?

Our daughter left her sled stuck into the snow near the warming area and when we returned from ice skating it had left without us.

It's a green plastic sled with orange nylon strap on the front.

She very much hopes someone will return it.

Thank you!
