The Mount Holly Town Democratic Committee will meet at in the Community Room of the Mount Holly Town Library Monday evening, August 12th, 2024, at 6 PM in order to nominate candidates for Justice of the Peace.

Annual Wallingford Memorial Rotary Club Lobster Fest!Lobster Fest 2024 will be held on SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 8 from 4:00-6:30 PM at
the Lodge at Elfin Lake. Come enjoy a delicious lobster or steak
dinner with all the trimmings, and help to support Wallingford Rotary's
local and international projects. Proceeds from Lobster Fest will help
us continue our annual Bike Safety Day, provide scholarships to local
high school graduates, and offer vision testing and glasses to children
in South African schools, to name just a few of our efforts. Tickets
are on sale now at our web site: https://wallingfordvtrotary.com/2024_lobster_festival/ Ticket prices remain the same as last year at $40 per dinner. Ticket sales end on September 3. MOUNT HOLLY MILL SITES TOUR

The Mount Holly Community Historical Museum will hold a road tour to the location of many of the early mill sites on Saturday, August 10th at 2 p.m. Meet at the Perkins House Museum near the Belmont Village Green to start a visit to eight sites that include stops near our town's first sawmill and grist mill. We plan to encourage some carpooling to help limit the number of cars. Please call 802-259-2460.
