Big Dig Comes To Mt. Holly

Art teacher Casey Junker Bailey will be returning to the Mt. Holly Library in Belmont on Tuesday, July 28 at 10:30 a.m. with another free art workshop for the community. Kids -and grownups too- are invited to "unearth a story" as they create bulldozers, trucks, and excavators to collage into a muddy construction site. Will we discover treasure in our Big Dig? Of course! There's always treasure at the library. The workshop is fun, free of charge, and appropriate for all ages. There is no need to register, but you can get more information by calling the library at (802) 259-3707.

Happy Maple Monday, friends!

Summer corn is in, and we've got a new way to put it on your grill this week: Maple Butter Grilled Corn on the Cob. Sweet ears charred right on the grate, brushed with a warm maple butter glaze (a little smoky, a little sweet), and finished with fresh chives.

It's the kind of side dish that disappears fast at a cookout — simple enough for a weeknight, good enough for company. Pairs beautifully with a Plew Farm burger off the grill. For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne to the butter.

Get the full recipe on our website.

And while you're there, stock up on the maple syrup that makes it happen — plus everything else you need for your next cookout, from our farm to your table. Visit our website and shop our full lineup, online any time.
