When: May 27, 2022, 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM
In-Person & FREE. Register Here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/344372937727.
Join us as we host the Southern Windsor County Forester, Hannah Dallas, of the Vermont Department of Forests, Parks, and Recreation (VT FPR) for a casual chat followed by a short woods walk on property. Hannah will be talking about how her role as county forester supports goals for landowners and planning for forest health.
Farm and Wilderness Camps and Conservation work together to conserve over 4,800 acres of land in Plymouth and Mount Holly and provide 8 summer camps for youth with immersive outdoor programming. We encourage the community to come onsite to learn more about our conservation efforts in the area and to learn how landowners can benefit from resources provided form the VT FPR.
This event is free and open to the public. Please dress for the weather and bring good walking or hiking shoes if you are planning to join the walk after the presentation. We will meet off of rt 100 at Farm & Wilderness Camps entrance at 401 Farm & Wilderness Rd in Plymouth, VT 05056. More information on directions and parking will be emailed out the day before the talk. We will reschedule the event for a different day if the weather is not in our favor and notify registrant the day before if that should happen.
We do ask that all participants who attend be fully vaccinated and boosted for COVID-19 and to bring a mask if we meet indoors for the talk portion of the event.
