A reminder of what you can do this week.
Weekly To Do List (4/24- 5/1)

  • Plant tomato, broccoli, cauliflower, Brussel sprouts, cabbage, eggplant seeds indoors.

  • Sow early greens (kale, spinach, mesclun, arugula, beets, etc.), peas, onion sets outdoors.

  • Cover empty garden beds with black, woven ground cover to warm the soil.

  • Feed indoor seedlings and houseplants with liquid fertilizer.

  • Do not remove old leaves from garden beds yet. Native pollinators & beneficial insects are still maturing there.

If you missed these last week...

  • Apply compost to raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, & perennial shrubs.
  • Apply lime to lawns if your soil test indicated acidic conditions (pH below 6.0). Do not apply fertilizer to lawns in the spring.
