Here we are - welcome to another Friday newsletter from your farmers at Plew Farm. Thank you for following along! If you're out and about this weekend, we invite you to stop by our farm stand. We've got just what you're looking for, and a few things you may not know you need! The bakers have returned to their kitchen and we will have fresh bread on Saturday! Also coming in on Saturday will be corn from Brown's Orchard and super delicious croissants and pastries from Vermont Croissant.
The fridge is stocked with ravioli, cider, yogurt, milk, and cheese. Come on over and take a peek! Fresh organic produce grace our back tables and I don't know about you, but I simply love this time of the year! Fresh tomatoes, mozzarella and basil, yup, that's my kind of thing! Looking for a quick dinner idea?! Here's a small list of what I choose when I'm short on time (or motivation!). . . Burgers with our pre-made patties is my #1 choice. So good, so easy, and everyone will be happy! Goodman's take and bake pizza can be found in our freezer. Four different toppings to choose from too! Sausage. Grab some of our sweet or hot italian sausage and add this to your pasta sauce or just simply pan fry with veggies. Got a slow cooker?! Then try one of our chickens, top with any type of rub/seasoning you desire, cook on low for 8-10 hours, and done! We look forward to seeing you this weekend. We are open every day 12:00 - 6:00 and are located at 1966 Healdville Road in Mount Holly.
