Hi Folks, Here we are skipping right into the fall. Where has the summer gone. I hope you got the chance to enjoy it and now ready for the beautiful colors of the fall. It is that time once again for the Chit Chat Deadline Sunday August 22, by 6:00 pm for the September issue. Please have all articles, announcements, advertisements and any other item you wish to share with our community to me by then. CHICKEN PROCESSING SPECIAL: Purchase unbagged fresh chickens from our chill tank to your bag and/or cooler. Unbagged chicken are $4.50/lb (you'll save .75/lb!). If you are interested in taking advantage of our unbagged special, you must reserve your chickens in advance.Drop us an email (please do NOT respond to this email) no later than Wednesday at 9:00am, and let us know how many you'd like to reserve. Your reserved unbagged chicken must be picked up at our farm stand Wednesday, August 18th between 12:00 & 5:00. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN BAG (or cooler, stockpot, etc.) FOR TRANSPORTING YOUR CHICKEN HOME.
Bagged chickens will be available for purchase at our farm stand after 12:00 on Wednesday. Bagged price is $5.25/lb.

So many ways to enjoy our chicken! Try cutting one up and stuffing the breasts with spinach, cheese and bacon! We tried this a few month ago, and it was superb! Here's a link to the recipe!
Our chickens are sold as a whole bird and generally average about 5 pounds. However, we often have smaller and/or larger ones. Do let us know what size you'd like and we'll be happy to get one that fits your needs.
