We are excited to announce that our 2023 CSA program is open for enrollment!

Our CSA is for community members who pre-pay for a seasonal supply of products. Rather than go to the bank for a loan before each season, we reach out to our community to help cover cost for feed, purchase of livestock, maintenance, etc. That way the community gets the "interest" instead of a big bank. The benefits of a Plew Farm CSA membership include a discount, flexibility in purchasing and knowing where your food comes from.

We offer a variety of products for purchase throughout the year, and with that in mind, we offer a free choice CSA farm share, instead of weekly box pickups. This allows you to shop and choose exactly what you'd like, when you'd like

While 2022 was another good year, we did experience supply chain and processing issues throughout the year. Avian flu was, and still is, a concern for poultry production. This included laying hens, meat birds and turkeys. We opted to lower our production numbers, which resulted in fewer eggs, chicken, and a limited number of turkeys. This year we will be increasing our flock of laying hens to help meet our egg demand. And we will be raising more chickens and turkeys as well. We will have chickens available for Memorial Day weekend.

Now on to beef and pork. Our meat processor suddenly changed their company policy which resulted in a loss of last year's beef and pork appointments. We were faced with stretching out our supply of meat to last through the year. The good news is the processing company again changed their policy and we are pleased to have our fall 2023 beef appointments on the calendar! Inventory of beef will be low and steaks and will not be available until fall. We currently have ground beef, chuck roasts, sirloin tip roasts, round roasts, and shank soup bones available.

We have also partnered with a local farmer to raise our pigs using the same farming practices as we do. Let's face it folks, your farmers aren't getting any younger and this way we can still provide you with the same quality pork you've grown accustomed to. We are expecting our first shipment of pork in about a month and have appointments on the calendar throughout the year for more.

Our maple shelves inside the farm stand are stocked with our award-winning, wood-fired maple syrup, maple cream and maple almonds! No reason for you to go without!

We continue to add more products from our farm partners. Fresh produce, pantry items, baked goods, hand crafted items, coffee, honey, soaps, dairy, pasta, pizza and more! Do let us know if there's something you'd like to see added and we'll do our best to make that happen!

You can use your Plew Farm CSA to purchase anything we have available for sale inside our farm stand. This includes items from our farm partners as well as our own products. Please note that our farm stand is open Thursdays through Sundays from 12:00-5:00. Closed Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.

If you'd like to join our CSA, please follow this link and fill out the membership form and return with payment either by mail or by stopping by the farm stand during business hours.

We thank you for your continued support.

Description: Kripalu Yoga is a gentle yoga practice with a compassionate approach. It places an emphasis on meditation, physical healing, and spiritual transformation that overflows from the yoga mat into daily life.  Kripalu is gentle Yoga that emphasizes moving at your own pace, self-acceptance, and adaptability. It's ideal for beginners and is accepting and adaptable to everyone, no matter your age, ability, size, or other circumstance. Yoga increases strength, flexibility, and improves circulation, breathing, and digestion.  Because of the deep relaxation, there is reduced muscle tension and risk of injury. The classes usually begin with pranayama exercises and gentle stretches followed by asana practice and ending with final relaxation.
