Elf The Musical, Jr. is based on the Holiday film Elf starring Will Ferrell. Follow the journey of Buddy, a Santa Elf that discovers he is really a human raised as an elf after crawling into Santa's magical toy bag as a baby. Buddy is now an adult and ready to meet his family in New York City. But the most shocking revelation of all... Buddy's dad is on the naughty list! Join Buddy on the adventure of the season as he teaches New York City that "The best way to spread Christmas Cheer, is by singing loud for all to hear!"
This will be Pride's 2nd production amid the COVID crisis. All productions, from auditions to show dates are rehearsed using Pride's smART Protocols for art safety and then streamed live via the showtix4u website.
"A novel virus calls for a novel answer. If the show is to go on, we must be willing to forge a new path." says Director, Sarah McGee. "Creating art in the challenging time of a global pandemic has required the support of both our artists and our community allies. This production is a true community event and showcases the talents of Pride's artists (ages 7-22), tap dancers from Miss Jackie's Studio of Dance (as the high kicking Rockettes), Jacob Patorti as a very special guest Vocal Director and the Video skills of Castleton University Video student, Luke McGee."
