Happy Friday everyone and welcome to the start of exciting weekend here at Plew Farm! Maple Open House starts tomorrow and we simply can't wait to show you around. Stop by our sugar house for a tour, meet the maple crew, watch us boil and sample the sweet stuff. We'll have our 'grab a tag' board set up at the sugar house. Tags can be redeemed at our farm stand. (Free eggs, ice cream, discounts, maple, and more). Jackson has been busy making his maple candy and will have it for sale at the sugar house. Dominic will be there to meet you as you arrive and will point you in the right direction! Kenna will be helping Gramma in the farm stand as well as giving tours inside the big red barn. Saturday and Sunday from 11:00-4:00. A fun-filled weekend for sure! The farm stand will be open throughout the weekend for your shopping convenience. The sun has been helping our veggie farmers and greens are slowly trickling in!
On Saturday we will have freshly baked breads from 3 Bears Bakery as well as some yummy treats from Mountain Robin. Mt. Dairy-Aire Farm has dropped off her incredible sourdough English muffins.
Honey, mustards, vinegars, and jams are all waiting for homes! Try some jam with the bread or muffins.
Need dinner ideas?! Beef: steaks, roasts, ground. Pork: chops, ribs, sausage, ham, roasts. Chicken: whole! And don't forget we've got a freezer full of Goodman's Take-and-Bake pizzas for those of us who may be crunched for time! There is still time (9 days) to join our CSA!
