4:00 pm

AGENDA

  1. Call to Order
  2. Transfer Station Employee Interviews

I'm in search of a free used baseball glove for my new hobby of playing
catch with a kindergartner. I throw with my right hand, so the glove is
for my left. Tballs to go with it would be a bonus.
Thanks, Dianne Johnson

Public Access Greeters Needed for 2024 Season!

Spread the word to help us find greeters for the summer! We have several excellent folks who have joined the 2024 Greeter Team but we still need more help for this program to be successful!

Work outdoors, make your own schedule, and help protect our natural resources this summer! Lake Ninevah in Mount Holly and/or Woodward Reservoir in Plymouth.

Back by Popular Demand!

Shrewsbury Conservation Commission brings you…

Connie Youngstrom and Linda Shelvey will share their birding knowledge with the first 12 people who sign up for their

Birding Walk at Jockey Hill Farm.

Come with your binoculars and a sense of wonder to listen to and view returning songbirds announcing their presence to prospective lovers.

This event is limited to 12 so register early by contacting Linda at Lpurdyshel@gmail.com or (802) 236-4515.

The Birding Walk will convene at the end of Coldham Road on May 11 at 7:30am, rain or shine!

REMINDER! – Join us at the Community Meeting House to identify your most valued places in Shrewsbury. We will provide large paper maps, and color markers. We need you to make your marks on the Shrewsbury map!

The results from the information gathered will be compiled digitally. The resulting maps will present a visual picture of what areas in Town are valued and why. When we overlap the digital images, the maps can show us where our most important places coincide and are complimentary and where they coincide and are conflicting. The information gathered will allow the priorities of the community community to inform our future Town Plan.
This event is hosted by the Shrewsbury Planning Commission. For more information, email - shrewsburyvtpc@gmail.com
