Happy Friday Folks!
It's that time of the week again, time for a bit of Plew Farm news! Fridays seem to sneak up on me, how 'bout you?!
We've had a bit of a cold snap earlier this week, and looks like we're having another one this weekend! We're thankful for the big red barn, which provides our cattle with the warmth they need, especially during the cold months. The pigs are not affected by the cold either, as they too have a warm and dry space to hang out. The layer hens are grateful for the sun, as even when it's cold, the sunshine provides a shot of warmth when it shines over the plastic covering. And heated waterers all around saves us so much time and worry.
The farm stand will be open this weekend (12 - 5) and we are looking forward to seeing you.
Fresh bread is back as well as Morgan's tasty croissants and pastries. Woo hoo! Our maple syrup is in full supply so don't forget breakfast. We even have pancake mix!
Goodman's take and bake pizzas are in! These are perfect for those "I don't know what to make for dinner" nights! Trust me, I know!
Don't forget the fridge here has yogurt, butter, milk, cheese, produce and so much more.
Our online store never sleeps .. so check it out if you're looking for some of the sweet stuff!
Stop on by the farm stand .. located at 1966 Healdville Road in Mount Holly.
We've Got the Meat!
The grocery shelves have been a bit thin as of late, including meat. Have no fear, we've got the meat! Our freezers are full of our farm raised pork, beef and chicken. From our farm to your table, we've got just what you need!
Stop on by our farm stand this weekend (12:00-5:00) and we'd be happy to help you select your meal planning ingredients!
