FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY

PHOTO CALENDAR CONTEST

INFORMATION

The Photo Calendar contest is a new event sponsored by the Friends of the Fletcher Memorial Library. The Friends are developing a 2027 Calendar which will feature photos of Ludlow and be sold in the Fall of 2026. All proceeds will be used to support the library. We are looking for photos that showcase some aspects of Ludlow: our beautiful mountains, lakes, flowers, wildlife, and quaint village are all ideas that come to mind. An independent panel of judges will pre-screen all submitted photos to narrow them down to 24 semi-finalist photos. The 24 semi-finalist photos will be voted on by the public during the week of August 10-15. Photos will be displayed in Fletcher Memorial Library, and ballots can be obtained from the front desk. Photos must be submitted no later than July 13, 2026. Stop by the library for the rules and the application form.

Day 7 Lost Dog (note she is golden colored not white).

She will evidently howl if she's in pain, for those with better ears than eyes. She's still likely to be hiding. If you could look in your shed, garage, barn or under the deck you'd be my hero. Please look at your Ring cam and driveway/house cams for any movement. Especially overnight.
DO NOT CHASE, call her or feed her! Simply report her to the Central VT Canine Recovery CVCR at 802-357-3755 ASAP.
