Our diversified farm is located in Mount Holly and we are dedicated to providing a local alternative to commercially produced factory food.

WE'RE HERE FOR YOU

The news lately can be a bit depressing, especially with the talk of meat and food shortages. Don't panic .. we're here for you.

Our plans for the each year begin in the fall of the previous year, when we schedule our appointments for beef and pork. These appointments generally need to be made 8-12 months in advance. We order our meat birds and turkeys in January, and put our production schedules on our calendars.

Sales here at the farm stand have been brisk for the past 6 weeks or so. And because of that, we have sold out of certain items earlier than anticipated. But because we had scheduled our beef and pig appointments, and because we had ordered our meat birds and turkeys, our processing schedule for the remainder of the year is in place.

We will have fresh chicken on or around Memorial Day! (Did you just shout hooray?!) Our beef freezer will fill back up mid-May. We expect to have our pork freezers full in July, and our turkeys will be ready for Thanksgiving.

We've partnered with many of our market friends, and we are all doing our best in keeping our shelves stocked with local goodness. At times, we may be out of stock of their items as well. Please continue to check our product list found on the curbside service page of our website, as we update this list daily. So, rest assured, while we may be out of some items here and there, we are all working on providing you and your family the best local food around!

WHAT'S FOR DINNER

Schweinshaxe! Or Roasted Pork Knuckle, or ham hock. Someone shared this recipe online last week, and Kevin suggested we give it a try.

Oh yeah! It was so good. Uses very few ingredients, cooks all afternoon, and one hock fed both of us!

We've got the uncured ham hocks on our product list. Let us know how many you want! Recipe found here folks!

SCALLOPS Scallops will be here and ready for pick up at our farm stand on SATURDAY! As we expect to be busier than usual, please let us know sooner rather than later if you want to order anything additional for pick up with your scallops. Remember bread delivery day is Saturday too!
