Today's Forecast:  Areas of blowing snow before 8am, then areas of blowing snow and a chance of snow showers between 8am and noon, then snow showers and areas of blowing snow between noon and 4pm, then areas of blowing snow and a chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy. High near 25, with temperatures falling to around 19 in the afternoon. Southwest wind 22 to 26 mph, with gusts as high as 41 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.

Snow showers with embedded snow squalls are possible between 11 AM and 5 PM today as a cold front moves across the region. Affected

locations will see rapidly changing weather and road conditions, with

brief heavy snow, gusty winds, and areas of blowing snow. Quick

snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches are possible.

Instructions

Conditions can deteriorate rapidly in snow squalls, which can lead

to temporary near whiteout conditions and the potential for

dangerous driving conditions. Be prepared for snow covered roads,

slow down, and allow extra time when traveling.
